Warehome Studios

Warehome Studios consist of two different businesses and a loft apartment where my partner, Greg, and I live. We purchased a warehouse space in July of 2004 and spent 8 months building a second floor and finishing out the space with the help of many of our generous friends. Downstairs, we share almost 1000 square feet of studio space that is now filled with kilns and other equipment.

Greg’s business, Grasso Glass and Stone, involves a lot of industrial equipment for moving, cutting and polishing granite countertops. Many of the same tools can be used for cold-working art glass, the other part of his business. He primarily works with kiln-formed glass and we have begun to collaborate on a number of new projects. My ceramic materials can be formulated for use as a slumping mold, where I create a bas-relief carved mold into which Greg can slump glass.
